Frequently asked questions

Does my dog have to walk in a group? can they walk alone?

We do not require group walking! Some dogs do better in a one on one environment and we are absolutely on board with that! If your pup prefers the company of other four legged pals, we offer that option too. Group walks are limited to four at a time for safety and control, and dogs are walked with like mannered and socialized dogs.

DO YOU OFFER A DAYCARE OR ANY KIND OF “ALL DAY” CARE OPTION?

We do offer a “daycare” option for dogs who qualify. Your pup must be able to walk well with other furry friends and ride well in a vehicle without distractions to driver(s). Daycare hours begin at 10:00am and end at 4:00pm with a maximum daycare slot of five hours for your pup. Rates start at $30 for the first hour and $5 per hour thereafter for first pup and $22 for the first hour and $3 per hour thereafter for additional dogs from the same household (max 3 dogs).

At this time we do not offer daycare if your dog is not able to do group walking, but you are always welcome to email us to see if we can accommodate your pups specific needs.

Do you require up to date vaccinations / spay / neuter?

The short answer is yes and no. Your dog should have age appropriate vaccinations to walk with other dogs. We are advocates of spay and neuter, however, we know that some dogs have better health if either is not done until full maturity. Most of these circumstances are case by case, however, a general rule is that in order to be in a group or to board, your pet must be up to date on shots.

do you provide any equipment? what do i need to provide?

While we may have extra supplies on hand, we ask that owners provide their pets preferred collars, leashes, harnesses, and other safety gear. In addition, we do ask that owners provide approved treats or a list of allowed treats (if applicable). Staff are required to carry water and waste bags and if doing transport, staff are required to utilize seat belt harnesses / barriers.

I HAVE A SENIOR ANIMAL OR AN ANIMAL WITH SPECIAL NEEDS…CAN YOU HELP?

Absolutely! One of the best parts of working with our team is that we are eager to work with animals that others may not be willing to give a chance to or feel uncomfortable working with. Whether your pup is older and needs more one on one time, or has medical needs that require a special touch and patience, we are more than happy to work with you. Our founder worked for a special needs dog rescue for many years and also has taken in two dogs that have special medical needs (one being an incredibly rare disorder). The rest of the team is dedicated to compassionate, loving and nurturing care for any and all animals in our care. We cater and specialize in working with companion animals that have unique needs and, if we haven’t encountered your specific need yet, we are all willing to learn what needs to be done and are eager to assist your furry family member.

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW AS AN OWNER BEFORE WE MEET?

Yes! A couple of quick notes.
* We do require a complimentary meet and greet before starting any services.
* Since more than one staff member is assigned to each dog, multiple people will be coming to the meet and greet.
* New clients cannot begin the same week of the meet and greet, but can begin immediately the following week (this allows us time to make proper scheduling arrangements to fit your pups needs)
* MBORI thoroughly runs background checks on all staff and anyone who works with us.
* We are fully insured, including all our employees, and are happy to show a copy of our insurance.
* We are fully registered in the state and are happy to show you a copy of our good standing in the state.
